Permanent Barcode Labels     

Permanent adhesive labels is the most common barcode label in use today. The label is commonly run through a barcode printer which applies the content to the label. Permanent labels are used in many applications from shipping and receiving to medical and pharmaceutical applications.

Permanent labels can be removed. They just usually leave some residue behind. The longer the label is on the merchandise, the harder it is to remove.
